How to set up backing tracks in Ableton Live

In my last video tutorial on Ableton Live, I demonstrated how to create and set up loops. Loops work well for repetitive songs or for when you don’t need more than some percussive sounds. But to add more instruments for songs that aren’t based on repeated progressions, full-length tracks – or sequences – are needed.

In this video, I’ll take you through the process of exporting individual tracks from Logic Pro, importing them into Live, and setting them up for flexible and easy control.

Coming soon, we’ll take five individual songs and compile them into a single project for use in a live worship set. Thanks for watching!
