This should be a quick addition to your piano “bag of tricks.”  This riff is easy to add to your repertoire and sounds good with the right chords.  In the video, I demonstrate the fingering pattern, how to play it in different keys, and how to play it with several variations.

P.S. I’m also excited to debut a new setup for these piano tutorials.  I’m just using a different spot in my studio, but aside from better lighting, it will have a couple advantages.  One, I like that there’s no keyboard in between us, so it feels more personal.  Two, this is where I keep my keyboard when I’m not doing a video in the old location.  So, less setup hassle for me will hopefully mean you’ll have more of these videos coming your way!
