ideas for adding grace notes to your piano melodies

Grace notes – how you can use them

ideas for adding grace notes to your piano melodiesThe concepts of playing grace notes are pretty simple.

You can play one note, or more than that.

You can play them on the beat, or slightly ahead of the beat.

What you really need are ideas for how to actually implement them in your melodic piano ideas!

In this latest video, I share two melodic riffs and variations that use grace notes in different ways.

Once you have learned them as demonstrated, be sure to work them out in other keys as well, so you will be ready to use the riffs at any time.

For help in adding melodies to your piano playing, check out the Fluent Piano Melodic course.

Thanks for watching!
