Glue Pads for Mainstage
$7.95
Great-sounding Mainstage pad sounds serve as expressive layers. Now included with Synth Layers collection.
Description
The right pad sound can help a song come together. It can give a strong emotional quality, even in the background of the mix. I’m pleased to introduce a collection of custom pad sounds for Mainstage. We’ll call it “Glue Pads.”
When I set out to design these patches, I had some goals in mind. I wanted these pads to be…
- geared for background playing and layering. Without drawing attention to themselves, they have enough gravity and movement to provide a compelling, emotional foundation for your playing.
- completely ready to use. I’ve made these as easy as possible for you to get started using them. The settings are dialed in, and the accompanying videos show you every step to get them going in your setup. These pads are ready for you to use this weekend.
- elegant in their function. These patches sound fantastic without overwhelming your computer’s processor. Every plugin is optimized for efficient performance. In fact, I tested these patches on a white Macbook made in 2007, and they work perfectly.
- totally compatible. The file you purchase will be compatible with Mainstage 2 or 3. And there are no 3rd party plugins used, which means no crossed out plugin slots when you open the file – nothing more to purchase.
- dynamic. Each pad is set up with a modulation control you can use to adapt the sounds to the situation. Each pad can be adjusted on the fly to be as dark or bright as you want it to be.
There are seven patches included in this collection. They are all highly useable and sound great. Purchase now for immediate download. Or, upgrade to the Synth Layers collection (which contains the Glue Pads).
A few things:
1) You must have a Mac computer with Apple Mainstage installed to use these sounds.
2) The download includes one concert file that is compatible with Mainstage 2 or 3.
3) For full hardware control of these sounds, 3 drum pads are helpful (not required), and you’ll need 4-5 MIDI knobs somewhere in your setup.
4) After purchase, be sure to watch this video for setup instructions and some quick tips on getting the most out of this concert.
